Siebel High Interactivity Framework is a legacy browser-based client framework used in earlier Siebel CRM deployments to deliver a rich, desktop-like experience over the web. It relies on ActiveX controls and client-side scripting to enable features such as drag-and-drop, in-form editing, keyboard shortcuts, and responsive data validation, typically within Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows. This approach reduced server round trips and boosted productivity for high-volume users like call center agents and sales teams, but it also locked deployments to specific browsers and security settings. The framework has since been superseded by Siebel Open UI, which offers similar capabilities without ActiveX and with broad, modern browser support. Organizations may still encounter the High Interactivity client when maintaining legacy environments or during phased upgrades.
Siebel High Interactivity Framework is developed by Siebel. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.0, 7.7 and 8.0.
